Contract deadlines
Checks your contracts every month and reports cancellation and renewal deadlines that are coming up.
Loop templateScheduledFree
At a glance
- Trigger
- On the first working day of each month.
- Goal
- A list of all deadlines in the next [number] days, each with its place in the contract.
- Check
- Every deadline has a clause reference. Unclear clauses are marked [check] instead of guessed.
- Stop condition
- All contracts on the list are checked.
- Approval
- Not needed. The loop only reads and cancels nothing. The list is not legal advice; the contract text is what counts.
- Memory
- Last month's deadline list, so new entries stand out.

Building blocks
A loop uses skills, agents and prompts. Add the matching skills so every round follows the same instructions.

Where the loop runs
Chat assistant with a schedule
ChatGPT offers scheduled tasks, Gemini offers schedules. Simple scheduled loops run there without other tools. Availability depends on plan and region.
No-code automation
In n8n, Make or Zapier you build trigger, AI step, check and approval as a workflow. n8n has its own evaluations for this.
n8n · Make · Zapier Agents
Coding agents
Claude Code has commands for interval loops, goal-based loops and scheduled routines. Codex has goals with a budget, Cursor has Automations on a schedule or event.
Vendors change features and plans often. The vendor's help page is what counts.
Keep an eye on costs
Every round uses compute. Subscriptions often have usage limits; with API access you pay per request. Limit the number of rounds and calculate beforehand.
Common mistakes
- No stop condition: the loop keeps running and uses compute without ever finishing.
- No real check: the assistant reports success although nobody looked.
- Too much freedom: the loop sends or changes something you wanted to see first.
