AI Compare is an independent catalogue of AI tools. We record prices, feature scope and usage limits from the vendors' official pages and make them comparable. Every click goes straight to the vendor page. No artificial ranking, no paid placement.
The catalogue currently holds 675 checked tools in 10 categories, available in 8 languages.
Every entry names at least one official source.
Who is behind it
The founder of the project is Martin Müller. As a computer scientist (Diplom & Master's) he looks back on years of software development in audio, AR/VR and the web. His focus is on modern AI tools, AI-assisted software engineering, and the interfaces between AI and robotics. He and his team maintain the catalogue.
How we check
Sourced only
A tool enters the catalogue once its prices, plans and limits have been checked against the official vendor page. Where the vendor does not state a figure, we mark it as not published. We do not estimate and we do not extrapolate.
Source, not assertion
Every entry names the vendor page it came from, in plain text. Where the vendor page contradicts our entry, the vendor page stands.
Checked twice
Every published tool is checked automatically against the official vendor page each day. Once a month a second, independent check with a different method is added.
Prices without conversion
Prices stay in the currency the vendor states them in, separated by pricing region. We convert no currencies, because a converted amount does not reflect the actual invoice.
Order without judgement
Result lists are alphabetical by default. In search results and on category and task pages, you can switch to Free access first. None of these orderings is a quality ranking. The related tools on each detail page are chosen alphabetically as well.
Found an error?
We check against the vendor page and correct or withdraw the entry. Every tool page carries a direct link for this.
