AI with data in the EU

Many companies in Europe want to know where their data sits with an AI tool, whether a data processing agreement is available and whether inputs are used for training. This page summarises what the vendors themselves say, by plan, with a link to the source and the check date. It is not a legal assessment and not an assurance.

Alphabetical order, not a rating.

The four levels, per the vendor

EU by default: Data stored in the EU by default, DPA available, no training on inputs.
EU selectable: EU storage or processing can be selected in the plan, DPA available.
Non-EU with contract: Processing also outside the EU, contractually safeguarded (e.g. standard contractual clauses).
Not established: At least one statement is missing or not documented. This does not mean a use is impermissible.
