Example: written by our editors, not real AI output.

1. refactor: move OrderService to orders/service.py Moved only, no behaviour change. 2. refactor: extract helper format_amount() Prepares the export. 3. feat: CSV export for order reports New endpoint /reports/orders.csv with a date filter. 4. test: tests for export and empty periods 5. chore: remove old export scripts Not cleanly separable: settings.py changes a name and a default value at once. Suggestion: put the default value into commit 3.

Your prompt

This is an instruction for an AI, not the result itself.

Where this prompt works

These AI tools are a good fit for this prompt:

How to use it

  1. Fill in the fields or tap a suggestion. Leave out names, addresses and other personal data.
  2. Copy the finished prompt into an AI tool of your choice.
  3. Build each commit on its own and run the tests before you create the next one.

Why does this work?

Separate commits for renames and behaviour make reviews faster, because reviewers no longer have to tell what was only moved from what really changed. A buildable order lets you undo single steps later.

Tips

  • Remove internal addresses, keys and customer data from the diff before you paste it.
