A standard app step costs one task; Zapier's Formatter, Paths, Filter, Delay, Looping, Tables, and Forms steps cost zero. MCP costs two tasks per tool call. AI by Zapier costs one task for Standard models, three for Advanced, or five for Premium; additional tool calls are charged again at the applicable class rate. Overage costs 1.25 times the base task rate and is capped.
