A sandbox is an isolated environment in which an AI agent can run code or operate programs without putting your real system at risk.
Example
A coding agent installs packages and runs tests in a container that has no access to your private files.
For pros
Typical sandboxes are containers or virtual machines with limited network, file system and permissions. They reduce the damage from mistakes and prompt injection but do not replace approvals. Credentials do not belong in the sandbox.
