AGI means an AI that can do most intellectual tasks at least as well as a person. No such AI exists so far.
Example
Today's chatbot writes good texts but cannot fully take over a job on its own. That would be closer to AGI.

There is no agreed definition and no accepted test. Researchers propose level frameworks that rate performance and autonomy separately. Provider claims that AGI is “close” are forecasts, not measurements.
