Express review terms

§ 1 Provider and scope

Your contracting party and provider of the express review is:

These terms apply to the paid express review of tool submissions. Our terms of use apply otherwise. Deviating terms of the customer do not apply.

The offer is exclusively for businesses within the meaning of § 14 BGB, not for consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB.

§ 2 Service

We review the submission with priority within 48 hours of receiving payment and send the result by email. If information needed for the review is missing, we ask by email; the deadline is suspended until you reply.

The same published inclusion criteria apply as for free submissions. We review free listings together in regular rounds, currently about every 3–6 months. Inclusion depends solely on our criteria. The express review only speeds up the review; it influences neither the decision nor placement or rating.

If the submission meets the criteria, we add the tool to the catalog immediately after the review. Inclusion is not guaranteed. Payment has no influence on position, order, rating, texts or presentation; express entries are not highlighted.

§ 3 Price, payment and invoice

The price is €9.95 net plus VAT where VAT is due. Businesses established in Germany pay 19% VAT (€11.84 in total). For businesses established in another EU member state with a valid VAT ID, the reverse-charge procedure applies (the recipient owes the VAT); without a valid VAT ID we charge German VAT. For businesses established outside the EU we do not charge German VAT where the legal requirements are met. The price shown at the time of the order in the form and on the Stripe payment page applies.

Payment is due in advance at booking and is processed by our payment provider Stripe. You receive the invoice electronically by email. Company name, billing address and, where applicable, VAT ID must be complete and correct.

Businesses established in another EU member state enter their VAT ID in the booking form. We check it before payment via the European Commission's VIES system. We apply the reverse-charge procedure only if the VAT ID is confirmed as valid in that check. Without a valid VAT ID, or if you book without a check while the VIES system is unavailable, we charge 19% German VAT (€11.84 in total).

§ 4 Conclusion of contract

By clicking "Book paid express review" and completing payment at Stripe, you make a binding offer. The contract is concluded with our booking confirmation by email. The contract language is German. Before submitting, you can review and correct your details in the form and on the Stripe payment page. We confirm receipt of your order by email without delay. You can access, save and print these terms on this page; we store the version accepted at booking with your booking.

§ 5 Rejection and refund

If the submission does not meet the criteria, we reject it, send the reasons by email and refund the full amount paid via the original payment method.

If we miss the 48-hour deadline for reasons within our responsibility, we refund the full amount on request and still complete the review with priority.

§ 6 Customer obligations

You confirm that you are entitled to submit the tool and that your information is true and not misleading. The rights assurance of the submission form also applies to the submitted information.

§ 7 Restriction and removal

We may restrict or remove an entry if the tool no longer meets the inclusion criteria, is no longer available, its details are no longer supported by vendor sources, or the entry infringes third-party rights or legal requirements. We will inform you of the reasons by email.

§ 8 Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act.

For slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage, at most to the price paid. Liability for slight negligence is otherwise excluded.

§ 9 Final provisions

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

If the customer is a merchant (Kaufmann), a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin. The same applies if the customer has no general place of jurisdiction in Germany.

We will notify you of changes to these terms by email at least 15 days before they take effect. You may terminate the contract until the change takes effect; your listing will then be removed.
