## In brief
Shortwave is an AI-powered Gmail client that provides automatic inbox triage, semantic search across all emails and attachments, AI-generated drafts, and thread summaries in a single application.

Free includes the core features and the AI executive assistant. Business costs $30 per user per month and covers about 150-300 standard AI requests per day; Premier at $45 offers twice and Max at $120 six times the Business AI usage, each per user per month. Assignments, status, and comments directly in the thread enable asynchronous collaboration by email without a separate project-management tool.

## Limits
Business covers about 150-300 standard AI requests per day. Actual usage varies with complexity and intelligence tier. One paid licence covers all email accounts of the same person, not additional team members.
